2025 Fish Ticket Clerk - PEDERSON POINT (PPT - FISHTK)

Department: PPT-INDIRECT LABOR
Location: Seattle, WA

The Fish Ticket Associate will process daily fish tickets, email daily reports, onboard fishermen and lead a “how-to” basic training on processing fish tickets. This is a seasonal position working approximately from Late May/ Early June to Late July. Due to the seasonal nature of our industry, the Production Associate works approximately 12 hours per day, seven days per week during peak production seasons approximately. This position is hourly and reports to the Plant Manager and Office Manager.

Responsibilities

· Onboard Fishermen into our accountant program.

· Assist fishermen with filling out forms.

· Process fish tickets through ELandings.

· Conduct a “how-to” training on how to process fish tickets.

· Email daily reports to Alaska Department of Fish and Game and Corporate.

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualified applicants must be or have:

  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be highly proficient in Excel.
  • Must value attention to detail.
  • Experience using MS Word, Outlook, OneDrive, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to compute basic math.
  • Ability to work 12 hours per day, seven days per week, with additional hours during peak seasons.
  • Ability to work well independently and with others.
  • Ability to maintain professional composure in high stress work environment.
  • Willingness to work in an office setting in a seafood processing plant.
  • Seafood production experience preferred.

Payroll Information

Payroll is processed Bi-Weekly.

Our workday is defined as the calendar day, and our work week runs from Monday through Sunday. Employees are paid on the Friday following the end of the biweekly pay period. We encourage employees to sign up for direct deposit but you may elect to receive paper checks instead.
